This role combines creativity, strategy, and efficiency to produce engaging campaigns that build awareness, attract customers, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. We’re on the hunt for a madly creative, high-energy Content Strategist who can dream up bold ideas and turn them into campaigns that grab attention, spark conversations, and make people stop scrolling. You’ll be the brains and creative firepower behind our storytelling at Tuteria, driving content that makes us not just seen, but unforgettable.What You’ll DoStrategy & Planning → Design content playbooks, campaign calendars, and go-to-market strategies that align with our growth goals.Creative Direction → Own the vibe, from TikTok challenges to billboards and make sure our campaigns feel bold, fresh, and unmistakably Tuteria.Brand Storytelling → Build narratives that connect emotionally (parents trust us, students rep us).Collaboration & Leadership → Lead creators, designers, and editors; align with marketing, product, and partnerships.Performance & Analytics → Track what’s working, kill what’s not, and double down on what moves the needle.Innovation → Spot trends before they blow up, adapt them for us, and keep Tuteria looking like the smartest kid in class.Content Oversight → Ensure every output — videos, designs, posts — is polished, purposeful, and on-brand.What We’re Looking ForYou’re a storyteller with big vision + execution grit.Obsessed with TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, and whatever’s next.Can create and direct campaigns that balance education + entertainment.Strong copy chops (you can write content that feels alive).You’ve done campaigns that got noticed (show us proof!).You’re playful, experimental, and don’t believe in “boring.”Why Join Us?This is not your average “education job.” You’ll get to shape the voice of Africa’s boldest learning platforms and lead campaigns that could shift how millions of people see education.Highlights of Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & PlanningDevelop and implement an integrated content strategy aligned with Tuteria’s overall brand and business objectives.Identify the needs of your target audience and create tailored content that resonates with learners, parents, tutors, and other stakeholders.Plan content calendars and campaigns to support product launches, marketing initiatives, and seasonal trends.Conduct market and audience research to understand customer behaviour, preferences, and emerging trends.Creative Direction & Campaign ManagementLead the creative vision for campaigns across digital, print, and multimedia platforms.Oversee the development of high-quality creative assets, including videos, graphics, social media posts, blogs, and advertisements.Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and storytelling across all platforms and campaigns.Direct ideation and execution of large-scale campaigns for brand positioning, customer acquisition, and partnerships.Oversee the ideation, scripting, and production of video, written, and graphic content across platforms.Brand Development & StorytellingEnsure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all channels (social media, website, PR, partnerships).Craft compelling narratives that position Tuteria as a trusted, innovative, and learner/customer-focused brand.Develop creative campaigns to strengthen Tuteria’s brand identity and differentiate it in competitive markets.Collaboration & Team LeadershipWork closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align creative work with business needs.Lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative campaign ideas.Provide mentorship and direction to the creative team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.Innovation & Market AwarenessStay ahead of digital, social, and content marketing trends to keep Tuteria relevant and engaging.Experiment with new formats (podcasts, webinars, live streams, etc.) to expand reach, engagement and virality.Continuously test creative approaches to optimize storytelling and brand engagement.Content Production OversightGuide scripting, storyboarding, and production of brand videos and storytelling campaigns.Work with the graphics team on design and copy for graphics, motion content, blogs, and newsletters.Ensure brand messaging resonates with multiple audiences (students, parents, tutors, partners, etc).Drive creative experimentation; testing formats, styles, and channels for maximum engagement.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Arts, Media, or related field3- 5 years’ experience in content strategy, creative direction, or brand storytelling (preferably in education, media, or tech).Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to deliver high-impact creative campaigns across digital platforms.Proven experience managing cross-functional projects.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate strategic goals into creative execution.Highly organised, efficient, and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.Proficiency in content planning tools, creative software, and social media platforms.A blend of analytical thinking and creative flair, with the ability to back ideas with evidence.
