This role combines strategic thinking and Content creation with hands-on social media management, ensuring that both Hurrikaine Media and our clients maintain strong digital presence, consistent brand voice, and measurable growth across platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy and CreationDevelop and implement content strategies aligned with brand and business goalsCreate audience personas and content frameworks for different market segmentsDefine and manage content pillars, campaign concepts, and distribution strategyOptimize content using analytics and continuously improve performancePossess strong storytelling skills to communicate brand story that resonates, engages and creates lifetime audience and clients.Create, shoot end edit social media content based on the content strategy and plan ideatedSocial Media ManagementManage daily posting, scheduling, and community engagement across social platformsRun influencer activations, live content, and audience engagement initiativesStay ahead of trends, platform best practices, and viral opportunitiesTrack performance and produce weekly and monthly reportsContent Production CoordinationPlan and maintain content calendarsBrief designers, videographers and editors, on deliverablesEnsure brand consistency and messaging across all platformsSupport shoots, copywriting, and creative direction as neededCreate all content that you planContent CreationCreate engaging video and graphic content optimized for multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)Write compelling captions, script short-form videos, and support brand storytellingParticipate in shoots — on camera and/or behind the scenes when neededEdit content using relevant tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, etc.)Generate content ideas that align with cultural trends and brand directionSocial Media Strategy & ManagementDevelop content strategies and campaign calendarsSchedule and post content consistently across platformsManage and grow online communities through active engagementMonitor trends and respond to digital culture in real timeTrack performance metrics and recommend improvements using data insightsClient & Team CollaborationWork closely with marketing, design, and production teams internallyTranslate campaign objectives into measurable digital actionsPresent strategy, insights, and growth recommendations to stakeholders/clientsQualifications4-6 years experience in social media and content strategy rolesStrong portfolio demonstrating content planning and execution with clear transformation case studyExcellent copywriting and storytelling skills, and knowledge of editing tools eg Capcut proProven experience growing online audiences and engagementFamiliar with strategy frameworks and content marketing fundamentalsProficient in analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)Knowledge of automation, scheduling, and systemization tools (e.g., Notion, Hootsuite, Later, Asana)Bonus: Experience working with media, entertainment, lifestyle, or tech brandsBasic knowledge of Ad tools eg Meta Ads, Google ads etcKnowledge and Proficient use of AI tools eg Chat GPT, Nano Banana, Perplexity, Sora, Midjourney, Canva AI etcKPIs (Key Performance Indicators)Audience growth across owned channelsEngagement rate & community activityLead and conversion impact on marketing campaignsContent performance improvement over timeOn-time delivery of content calendar and campaignsCompetenciesCreative thinking with data-driven decision makingStrong communication & presentation skillsHigh ownership mindset and ability to work fast in a growing companyTrend-aware and culturally plugged into digital spacesExcellent time and project managementTop tier videography and editing skills
