Shagamu Batik production Manager

Job Title: Batik Production ManagerLocation: [Sagamu Ogun State] Reports to: [Creative Director)Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Batik Production Manager to oversee the full production process of our Adire (tie-dye) products. The manager will coordinate all stages of production, ensure high-quality output, and make sure deadlines are met, while supervising the production team responsible for fabric preparation and dyeing.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the entire Adire production process from planning to finished product.Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely completion of all orders.Implement and maintain strict quality control standards across all production stages.Supervise production staff, including dyers, cutters, and other team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.Ensure inventory of raw materials and supplies is adequate for uninterrupted production.Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain smooth workflow.Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure production aligns with specifications and design intent.Prepare regular production reports for management, including progress, quality metrics, and resource usage.Enforce compliance with health, safety, and workplace standards.Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience in textile or garment production management, ideally with batik or handcrafted fabrics.Strong leadership, team coordination, and organizational skills.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and consistency.Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple production lines.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred:Knowledge of Adire or other traditional textile production processes.Experience managing artisanal production teams.Compesation70kOther Offers:Competitive salary and benefits.Opportunity to manage the full production cycle of culturally rich, handmade fabrics.Creative and collaborative work environment.
