Content & Design Assistant

About Us:ITC Hospitality Group is a fast-growing CBD-based and privately owned property letting and management company that has been in the industry for 20 years.We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content & Design Assistant to support our marketing team. This role involves creating weekly marketing content, including static graphics and short-form video reels, designing marketing materials, assisting with copy-writing, and supporting overall marketing initiatives.​Key Responsibilities:Create weekly marketing content, including graphics, carousels, stories, and short-form video reels, and submit for approval to the marketing team.Assist with the design of digital and print marketing materials (brochures, email layouts, presentations, etc.).Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas and campaign concepts.Design templates and brand assets using Canva (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).Edit short-form video reels using CapCut to align with brand style and trends.Support writing and editing of content copies for campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials.Help organize and maintain digital assets and brand resources.Provide general assistance for marketing campaigns and initiatives.Requirements:Proven experience in content creation and graphic design (entry to mid-level).Proficiency in Canva for design and CapCut for short-form video editing (Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus).Strong understanding of marketing content formats, including reels and trending videos.Good writing and editing ability to support content copy development.Basic understanding of branding and marketing principles.Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.Collaborative mindset and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Diploma or certificate in Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, or a related field.Portfolio showcasing marketing content (static and video) and design work.Benefits:Provident fund: 5% employer and employee contributionMedical insurance: 50% company contribution[Other benefits, e.g., annual leave, professional development opportunities]​​Job Type: Full-time​Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month​Ability to commute/relocate:Cape Town, Western Cape 8001: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)​Education:Certificate (Required)​Experience:content creation and graphic design: 1 year (Required)​Location:Cape Town, Western Cape 8001 (Required)​Work Location: In person
