We are a hub of knowledge and innovation, attracting healthcare professionals who are passionate about pushing boundaries and making significant contributions to the field.About the department and positionWe are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Communications (Content & Media) Intern to assist with social media management. This role involves working closely with clinicians and senior leaders to build their online presence and refresh website content. You will also be required to manage event operations and develop content for online and offline campaigns to support the Content & Media portfolio.The intern will support NCIS integrated communication strategies to enhance NCIS Experience. This role involves developing and implementing communication plans, tracking metrics, identifying trending topics, supporting the media and communications team, and ensuring integrated communications across all channels.Key responsibilitiesContent Creation & Design• Develop engaging copy and design compelling artworks for NCIS social media platforms.• Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and multimedia content that aligns with NCIS branding guidelines and effectively communicates our mission to diverse audiences.Video Production & Filming• Support filming activities for various NCIS initiatives, including educational content and event coverage.• Assist with pre-production planning, on-site filming coordination, and basic post-production tasks.Digital Profile Management• Create profiles for clinicians and senior leaders.• Build and optimise NCIS social media profiles and pages to enhance NCIS branding and increase engagement with key stakeholders.Campaign Management• Plan content for integrated campaigns consisting of email marketing, webinars, videos, social media advertising, marketing collateral, and innovative tactics to drive awareness and build brand advocacy for NCIS initiatives.Media Monitoring & Analysis• Monitor traditional and digital media channels for NCIS-related coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities.• Compile regular media reports and provide insights to support strategic communications planning.NCIS Initiatives Support• Plan, support, and drive the execution of NCIS initiatives and other assigned projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organisational objectives.Requirements• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or related field• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Proficiency in design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred), Canva, Microsoft Office• Basic video editing capabilities• Social media savvy with understanding of platform-specific content strategies• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment• Interest in healthcare communications and cancer awareness initiativesKindly note the following: Please attach the latest copy of your resume in your application.Minimum full-time commitment of 25 weeks from Jan 2026 is expected.
