SummaryWe are looking for a  Test Publishing Administrator to join our team. The Test Publishing Administrator uses various software programs to produce materials and products associated with test development. This includes creating and maintaining content rich data bases that support computer-based tests. The position requires working on multiple projects simultaneously and planning and executing assigned tasks efficiently to meet every deadline with accurate outcomes. The Test Publishing Administrator partners with copyeditors and graphic artists to coordinate efforts within the group and meet shared goals.Primary ResponsibilitiesUse proprietary and general use software and tools to build test forms according to client specificationsApplies advance knowledge of software to create and format complicated technical documentsMigrates and converts items and images from MS Word documents to database formatMaintains multiple databases and data input of test itemsOrganizes data based on program and content area specifications and makes recommendations, as neededBuilds item banks and test forms that will be used for test publishing and/or committee meetingsUtilizes strong technical skills to easily learn and apply new features that support production needsWorks cooperatively with team members and other departments to meet client driven deadlinesSkills And QualificationsStrong organizational and document management skillsProficiency with databases, MS Word, and ExcelAbility to learn technologies and software easilyStrong analytical and trouble-shooting skillsExperience in computer based content managementExperience with test publishing a plusExemplary planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailProven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; flexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesExperience working on multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating efforts with others to meet shared goalsDemonstrates strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently while proactively identifying tasks and challengesAbility to work successfully as part of a teamMS Word, MS Excel, Snag–It, PDF EditorCompensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.Who We AreAt Pearson, our purpose is simple: to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
