About North Star NetworkNorth Star Network (NSN) is a global sports and betting media group that builds and operates leading digital brands connecting sports fans and bettors across 30+ countries.Our mission is to turn passion for sports and gaming into trusted information, data-driven insights, and responsible entertainment.We’re a multicultural, fully remote company uniting over 50 in-house experts and 200+ freelancers from more than 20 nationalities across Europe, Africa, and the Americas.About the RoleAt North Star Network, we’re seeking a Content Team Leader to lead and elevate our Africa FR editorial operations, ensuring our content connects with audiences across French-speaking Africa and supports our iGaming and sports media growth.If you’re a natural leader with strong editorial instincts, who thrives in fast-paced digital environments and loves turning ideas into impact — this role is for you.You’ll join forces with our SEO, Product, and Business teams, plus our network of Content Managers, Editors, and Writers, to deliver high-performing content, drive traffic growth, and uphold the highest editorial standards across our global brands.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management & LeadershipLead and mentor a team of Content Managers, Editors, and Writers to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.Assign tasks and priorities according to business and SEO goals.Provide ongoing feedback, performance reviews, and development opportunities.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.Guarantee timely delivery of content according to the editorial roadmap.Content Strategy ExecutionTranslate the Head of Content’s strategic vision into actionable editorial plans.Oversee content production and ensure briefs, keyword targeting, and tone align with SEO and business goals.Adapt content priorities based on audience insights and data performance.Ensure key pages are optimized and aligned with ROI objectives.Quality Control & Editorial StandardsReview and approve content before publication to ensure compliance with guidelines and factual accuracy.Support the editorial team with constructive feedback and best practices.Conduct periodic content audits to identify updates and improvements.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with SEO, Product, and Business teams to align on growth and monetization objectives.Coordinate with the Media team to support amplification and consistency of messaging.Share insights and results regularly with internal stakeholders.Performance MonitoringTrack rankings, traffic, and engagement to assess performance.Identify growth opportunities through data-driven analysis.Report progress, challenges, and recommendations to the Head of Content.What We’re Looking ForNative French speaker, fluent English (other languages are a plus).5+ years of experience in digital content management, ideally in sports media, iGaming, or publishing.Proven track record in team leadership and SEO-driven content strategy.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Strong editorial sense with attention to detail and storytelling quality.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural, and remote environment.What We OfferWork on some of our most dynamic and high-traffic brands, including Top Mercato, Bojoko, and Trivela, reaching millions of sports fans worldwide.100% remote work possible.Join a diverse, international team passionate about sports and digital innovation.Professional growth opportunities within a fast-expanding global media company.A culture of autonomy, trust, and collaboration.Competitive salary depending on experience and seniority.Ready to Join Us?If you’re passionate about sports, content, and iGaming — and you’re ready to lead a talented editorial team in an ambitious global company — we’d love to hear from you.Apply now and help shape the future of NSN’s global sports media voice!
