Shape the Commercial Backbone of Landmark Projects with Geovert Join Geovert, a world leader in natural hazard mitigation and ground engineering and play a pivotal role in delivering complex civil infrastructure and mining projects across Australia. About the roleYour role will span the full contract lifecycle, from pre-contract reviews and risk assessment to post-award management of extensions of time (EOTs), variations, claims, and cost control. You’ll provide proactive guidance to Project and Operations Managers, ensuring contractual compliance and protecting project margins while keeping delivery on time and within budget. You will also own the contract lifecycle: draft, negotiate, and manage upstream and downstream agreements, departures, and special conditions as well as, protect project margins: monitor cost performance, review and advise on entitlement provisions, and maintain KPI reporting. This role is critical for driving compliance and transparency and managing statutory requirements, payment schedules, and accurate record keeping. There will also be multiple opportunities to visit projects and witness your decisions shaping real-world outcomes. About youYou’re a proven Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor, preferably from ground engineering or civil construction, bringing technical fluency, an eye for detail and a continuous-improvement mindset. Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline. 3–5 years’ experience in contract administration, quantity surveying, or commercial roles (civil infrastructure preferred). Strong knowledge of subcontract terms, legislative requirements, and cost control. Skilled in cost controls, financial reporting, and contract nuance. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and financial management software (NetSuite preferred but not required).
