Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will play a key role in overseeing the full contract management process for civil engineering and fit-out projects. This position requires advanced contractual knowledge, strong leadership in coordinating with stakeholders, and the ability to proactively manage risks, claims, and compliance in alignment with Saudi regulations and company objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the review, negotiation, and administration of contracts, subcontracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and KSA laws.Provide expert contractual advice and guidance to project managers, procurement, finance, and senior management.Manage contract lifecycle activities, including drafting, modifications, extensions, claims, variations, and close-out.Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate contractual and commercial risks.Monitor and enforce contract compliance, ensuring deliverables, milestones, and obligations are met.Represent the company in negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve contractual and commercial issues.Prepare detailed reports and summaries for senior management on contractual status, risks, and claims.Develop and implement best practices and procedures for contract administration within the organization.Act as a key liaison between the project team and external stakeholders on all contract-related matters.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in civil engineering (mandatory); master’s degree or professional certification is an asset.10+ years of proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry, with a strong background in large-scale civil and fit-out projects.In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and commercial practices in Saudi Arabia (GCC experience highly valued).Advanced knowledge of FIDIC and other international standard forms of contract.Strong track record in claims management, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Proficiency in MS Office and contract management tools/software.Fluency in English (Arabic is an asset).Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Key SkillsAdvanced contract administration & negotiationClaims and dispute resolutionRisk management & complianceStrategic communication with stakeholdersLeadership in contract management practices
