Job Summary: Bilingual French & English (FLUENT able to read, write, and speak)Contract Analyst is responsible for providing high quality contracts and pricing analytics to Terumo Medical Canada, Incorporated (TMCI), including Terumo Interventional Systems, Terumo Neuro, Terumo Aortic, TMP and TPS sales Organizations. The contract analyst works collaboratively with the TMCI field sales teams, marketing, customer service and finance to manage and maintain contract and procurement responsibilities, process and relationships with hospital procurement and hospital procurement and group purchasing organizations (GPO).Main ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the contract and price agreement processes for Terumo businesses, including maintaining contract calendars, contract expiry reports, system pricing and procurement organization relationships.Responsible for the ongoing surveillance of upcoming Request for Quotations (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Proposal (RFP) that may be relevant to TMCI businesses and in collaboration with multiple stakeholders (sales, marketing and finance), lead and coordinate timely and compliant submissions.Partner with sales, marketing and finance to analyze contract compliance, pricing integrity, and overall contract performance with the goal of assisting in identifying business opportunities leading to improved contract and financial performance.Prepare and deliver scheduled contract reviews and sales reports to manage hospital and buying group tracing reports and conduct necessary calculations and processes for accurate and timely rebate payments and admin fees.Investigate pricing discrepancies and work with appropriate internal and external stakeholders towards resolutionLead, manage projects independently and participate in collaborative ad hoc projects as required; propose process improvements and support cross-functional initiatives to enhance departmental and overall TMCI efficiencies.Organizational Impact: Supports the commercial activity by ensuring contracting opportunities by uncovering and presenting contracting opportunities to the commercial teams. This supports the revenue and P&L by ensuring we are appropriately submitting responses for request for proposals and driving business opportunities from contracts.Communication & Influence: Works closely with the commercial team (sales and marketing leadership at various levels) as well as with the local finance team. The role will also have forward customer facing impact with representatives from customer procurement and Group Purchasing Organizations. The influence of the role will consist of information exchange with elements of negotiation and persuasion.Innovation & Complexity:The role will work primarily within standard processes and procedures but the procurement and contracting environment in Canada can be complex, dynamic and ambiguous which will require the individual to have elements of critical thought, process improvement and ability to manage ambiguityLeadership & Autonomy:The role will work independently as part of a team using common procedures and collaboration. They will not have people management.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Fluently bilingual in French and English (able to read, write, and speak)Ability to quickly learn Terumo’s products, procedures and systems.Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working under minimal supervision in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Access) and ability to run recurring and adhoc reports through an ERP system.Must be able to handle confidential information.Must be detail orientated.Background Experiences: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years contract analyst or administrative experience required or equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experienceAnalytical experience with contracts including legal terms and conditions preferred.Experience with contracting ERP system (i.e. JD Edwards, SAP, etc. preferred.
