Job Description

Scope:Procurement, contracts, and warehouse management.Purpose:Overseeing and managing all aspects of contract, procurement and warehouse management of the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services, and contract execution while upholding the highest standards of quality in our real estate projects.Strategic Procurement & WarehouseDevelop procurement and warehouse policies and procedure with a definite SLA.Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.Procurement BudgetPrepare the procurement budget and seek management approval.Manage and control the procurement budget to optimize spending and cost effectiveness.Vendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers based on quality, reliability, and pricing.Collaborate with vendors to improve their performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.Managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.Preparing procurement reports.Warehouse ManagementOverseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.Effectively manage inventory, logistics, and personnel, and playing a pivotal role in minimizing costs and maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the warehouse environment.Follow up and manage keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.Contract Management Oversee the creation, review, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other service providers.Monitor contract performance, compliance, and resolve any issues that may arise, both internally and externally.Cooperate with engineering department in preparing bill of quantities (BOQ), tender documentation and tender packages in line with standard systems of measurement.Compliance and Risk ManagementStay up-to-date with all applicable laws and regulations related to procurement and contracts.Mitigate and manage risks associated with procurement, warehouse, and contracts.Job RequirementsBSc degree Engineer .Experience of 15-20 years, as contracts, purchase and commercial professional.Proven experience in procurement, contract management, vendor relations, and handling claims issues of project sites in the real estate sector.Very good experience in warehouse management.Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.Talent in negotiations and networking.Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.Experience in collecting and analyzing data.Strong leadership capabilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Strong understanding of agreements/ contracts.Writing skills and conversational ability in English.Familiar with warehouse best practices and policies and procedures implementation.Proficiency in Office Software, specifically Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, ERP, or similar programs.
