And that’s where you come in.Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid)Contract ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesProvide contractual support to project teams. Identify strengths and risks in contracts signed or to be signed between Hitachi GTS Romania and clients. Ensure project teams have a clear and accurate understanding of contractual obligations. Monitor client compliance with contractual terms and assist in drafting documents related to contractual matters. Manage and follow up on non-conformities identified by project teams, subcontractors, or suppliers. Based on input from project teams, inform decision-makers about proposed measures to ensure subcontractors and suppliers comply with contractual obligations. Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct regular monitoring with project teams to ensure compliance with contractual terms by suppliers and subcontractors. Oversee the submission and approval process of Change Proposals from the project team to the client. Comply with legislation and internal instructions regarding occupational health and safety, IT security, and environmental protection, including any additional measures required by local working conditions. Report any situation that may pose a risk to personal or others’ health and safety to the designated safety officer and the General Manager. Use appropriate personal protective equipment as provided. Perform other tasks directly or indirectly related to the role, including those that may arise from future company or project developments. Required Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesTo successfully perform this role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:Education & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Law. KnowledgeStrong understanding of technical and legal domains. Advanced proficiency in English. Proficiency in software applications (Word, Excel, Internet, databases). Proven experience working with FIDIC and HG1/2018 contracts. Skills & CompetenciesAdvanced communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
