Grow with usAbout this opportunity:We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager & Regulatory Expert to play a pivotal role in managing our customer contracts, supporting sales and pre-sales engagements, and ensuring risk mitigation aligned with business opportunities. This role bridges commercial, technical, and regulatory requirements to safeguard our operational and strategic interests.What you will do:Own and maintain the organization’s customer contracts repository, as well as being the first point of contact for contract interpretations and dispute management.Partner with sales and pre-sales teams in customer discussions to align commercial and technical requirements in contractual frameworks.Work in close collaboration with Ericsson’s legal function and seek continuous support from assigned legal counsel. Participate in and lead contract negotiations with customers, sales partners and suppliers to secure favorable and compliant terms and conditions, including identifying and mitigating contractual risks, in consultation with assigned legal counsel.Leverage expertise in software license models (perpetual, subscription, usage-based, etc.) and go-to-market approaches such as SaaS.Ensure that our products are compliant with relevant regulatory requirements for payment providers and banks.Drive process improvements around contract management for efficiency, compliance, and risk control.Proactively initiate and lead projects that enhance contractual risk management and operational alignment.The skills you bring:5+ years in contract management or legal/commercial roles within technology or financial services sectors.Experience in customer-facing contract negotiations.Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks in payments and banking industries.Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.Deep understanding of commercial terms and technical requirements alignment.Expertise in software license structures and SaaS business models.Familiarity with payment provider and banking regulatory compliance, particularly from an EU perspective.Risk assessment and balanced decision-making between business opportunities and risk mitigation.Personal SkillsStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and consistency.Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to drive initiatives.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.Location: Stockholm, Sweden (Remote work within the EU is possible in countries where Ericsson has an office).
