Job DescriptionIdentify and execute against strategic initiatives to build upon category advisor expertisePartner closely with key logistics stakeholder teams to understand critical business needs, trends and strategiesManage a team of junior sourcing professionals including category experts and analysts for the day-to-day coaching, training, and ongoing developmentDefine and implement global sourcing and outsourcing strategies for Logistics and External Manufacturing that consolidate and optimize both the supplier base and services, while securing the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and access to the highest levels of service and qualityLeadership role in key procurement activities, including RFx development and execution, Statement of Work (SOW) and contract drafting, and pricing and contract negotiations (new client initiatives).Ensuring team is managing master data management to the required quality standards.If managing direct reports – ensure right resourcing and workload management along with mentorship and support. Greater participation/involvement in cross-functional visionary development and implementation.Greater responsibility of coaching leadership qualities into mentees and direct reports, building the future leaders of the organization.Participating in firm building activities, including recruitment, client visits and wider GEP Operations improvement activitiesResponsible for setting the strategy for Logistics portfolio in close alignment with Supply Chain teams and executing the strategy.You will be responsible for delivery of successful management of logistics and external manufacturing.Must have experience in either Collaborative Manufacturing or Logistics Management (Fleet or warehousing contracting)Following procurement skills are added advantage: Logistics category strategy development Price forecasting process for Logistics categoryIdeal Candidate QualificationsMasters/ Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years in Procurement/Supply Chain managementExperience in managing/sourcing Logistics (Transportation, Warehouse Services) and/or External Manufacturing partnersStrong inter-personal skills to excel in a culturally diverse environment and manage global internal stakeholdersStrong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, MS Power Point and Power BI (Desirable)Fluent in Arabic and EnglishRegion: Egypt & Regional markets
