Contract Signal Processing Engineer (TWS Audio DSP Focus)

Are you an expert in audio signal processing with a passion for True Wireless Stereo (TWS) technology? We’re excited to partner with a leading audio technology company to find a talented Contract Signal Processing Engineer for a cutting-edge project focused on next-generation TWS earbuds and wearable audio devices.About the Role:This is a fully remote, 4–6 month contract where you’ll develop and optimize real-time audio and ultrasonic DSP algorithms for TWS platforms. You’ll work hands-on with embedded firmware (C programming), collaborate with international hardware and software teams, and contribute to innovative audio solutions. Collaboration occurs online during European daytime hours, requiring clear English communication.Key Responsibilities:Design and refine DSP algorithms for TWS earbuds.Develop embedded firmware in C for low-power DSPs and microcontrollers.Integrate and validate DSP components with hardware teams.Debug firmware/system issues related to signal quality and latency.Contribute to future architecture concepts and performance testing.Required Skills & Experience:Proven experience in audio signal processing or embedded DSP, ideally in consumer audio/wireless devices.Strong knowledge of TWS technology (pairing, synchronization, latency management).Experience with WuQi chipset or similar platforms (e.g., Qualcomm QCC, BES, Airoha) is a plus.Proficiency in Embedded C for real-time, resource-constrained systems.Ability to analyze, debug, and optimize audio pipelines.Nice-to-Have:Familiarity with Bluetooth audio, Python for signal analysis, or noise-cancellation systems.Experience with hardware bring-up or mobile audio frameworks (e.g., Android).Who You Are:You’re an independent, problem-solving engineer who thrives in fast-paced, remote environments.
