All LSEG D&A products and services are dependent on our data. Our team ensures that we have a completely joined up approach to sourcing optimal data for all our user communities.The Contributor Relations team is located in our key customer, contributor, and content partner cities around the world and brings a powerful blend of relationship management, technical, and data domain expertise in their respective areas of specialty. They work together with Content managers, ensuring that we apply the optimal approach for all data we acquire and distribute. Also, work very closely with key stakeholders, like Customer Operations and Sales organization.What you'll be doing:The M&A Contributor Relations Manager for Japan, will be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining relationships with multi-level contacts across the Investment Banking M&A community.With primary responsibility of the recruitment and support of financial institutions in providing M&A data/contributions to LSEG' s products. Day-to-day workflow will include customer service for multiple data contributors, identification of potential data contributors, and establishing relationships with potential and existing contributors.The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance, specialty in investment banking and excellent communication skills.Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Identify, build and maintain relationships with data contributors through regular contact via email, phone and meetingExpand the contributor base of M&A data to increase contributed data coverageIdentify and propose new content enhancements and strategy based on continuous engagement with data contributor firmsDemonstrate the value of contributed content to internal commercial teams, data contributors, clients, and prospectsWork with the sales and account management team to discover potential contributors and design contributed data solutionsOccasionally plan and host impactful networking events for M&A professionals, fostering engagement, knowledge exchange, and stronger contributor relationships.You'll bring:Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese at a business-professional level.Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and collaborate with internal teams and contributors globallyStrong communication and organisational skills to plan and host eventsProactive work ethicWillingness to learn, research, acquire and investigate M&A data"Entrepreneurial" spirit and passion for the financial sectorExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Foundational exposure to M&A, Investor Relations (IR), Communications is a plusWorkstyle and Benefits:Diverse environmentEnglish as primary language to work with internal partnersCollaborative team cultureHybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days at homeThis role may also involve overseas travel and participation in calls outside standard business hours to collaborate with global stakeholders, with flexibility provided.Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
