You will bring a minimum of five years of experience to manage core financial operations, ensuring accuracy and providing actionable business intelligence.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control & ComplianceControlling & Reporting: Ownership and execution of controlling, ensuring financial data accuracy and timely preparation of internal and external reports.Month-End: Provide essential support for the month-end closing process to our Accounting Assistant, including hands-on on accruals, CAPEX etc. Local Expertise: Ensure full compliance with all Danish bookkeeping, tax, VAT, and salary regulations.Audit: Act as the primary point of contact and lead for annual financial audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process including preparing documentation for the auditors.Analysis & Business ImprovementBudgeting and Forecasting: Lead the company's budgeting process and develop robust financial models for accurate forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.Process Optimisation: Proactively identify and implement improvements to finance processes, seeking automation and efficiency gains.Data Quality: Be responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of all financial data and data flows across various business systems.Business Analysis: Provide crucial financial and business analysis support to the management team, translating financial data into strategic insights.Operational SupportAccounting Support: Provide direct support and guidance to our Accounting Assistant on day-to-day tasks.Salary Complience: Review and approval of monthly salary runs and ensure required documentation is prepared and documentedOther responsibilities: You will also get the responsibility for other related areas such as the Bank, Insurance, Leasehold contracts, our HR tool etc. Who You Are:Mindset & Work StyleYou are ambitious, accountable and solution-oriented, thriving in a dynamic, high-performing environment.You are structured and data-driven, highly proactive, curious, and comfortable with taking independent ownership of tasks from start to finish.Data Driven: Comfortable working with large data sets and possessing a strong analytical mindset.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a controlling or financial analyst role, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth company.Responsibility: You are ready to take on more responsibility than just the ordinary Controller role being a right hand to the CEO in the Financial and Operational areaRequired Technical ExpertiseTech Savvy: Deep understanding of financial processes, data flows, system dependencies, and a strong affinity for financial technology tools. Linguistic Skills: Fluent in written and oral Danish and English (MANDATORY).Financial Background: Solid educational foundation in finance or accounting.Danish Regulatory Knowledge: Expert knowledge of Danish financial regulations (bookkeeping, VAT, tax, salary etc.).
