Job Description
Huntstone Capital is seeking a driven and analytical Corporate Development Analyst to support our strategic investment initiatives, including acquisition and growth projects for our portfolio companies. This is position offers the unique opportunity to work directly with our portfolio company CEO and its leadership team on high-impact projects.ResponsibilitiesConduct market and industry research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and potential acquisition opportunities.Build and maintain target lists of acquisition candidates aligned with strategic priorities.Perform financial and strategic analysis on acquisition targets, including reviewing financial statements, market positioning, and operational synergies.Assist in due diligence activities, coordinating data requests and validating key assumptions.Prepare concise reports, presentations, and valuation models to support decision-making.Maintain pipeline tracking and CRM data to ensure a clear view of active opportunities.Support integration planning and other special projects as needed.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our M&A process and frameworks.QualificationsA completed university degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics (required).0-3+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a related analytical role. Strong new grads are welcome.Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills. Comfortable building 3-statement models, valuation comps, and simple LBO or ROI analyses.Strong research and data synthesis capabilities; able to distill large amounts of information into clear insights.Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with CRM or deal tracking software is a plus.Self-starter with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
