We work together to shape the future of energy and we focus on developing and empowering our people, cultivating their talents that will shape our future journey towards the energy transition.Starting with the role:We are looking to hire a Corporate Development Senior Expert to join our Strategic Development & New Ventures team.During your day you will:Conduct Strategic Analysis, including Industry, Market & Competitor Analysis to identify trends and propose potential organic and inorganic opportunitiesSupport the Head of Corporate Development in designing Market Entry Strategies aligned with business development initiativesPrepare, review and finalize presentations and other strategic analysis material to support senior management decision-makingLead or contribute to ad-hoc corporate transformation, improvement and business development projectsAssist in the due diligence process (legal, technical & financial) in collaboration with the Strategic Advisory & M&A Department, including the selection of external advisors as well as the drafting of contractual documents (e.g. terms sheet)Facilitate the establishment of new business ventures (JVs, partnerships etc.) including activities such as drafting shareholders’ agreements, preparation for Day 1, etc.Perform in-depth commercial evaluations of energy and non-energy projects in close collab with external advisors, subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholdersWhat you need to stand out:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business AdministrationMaster’s degree in Finance or MBA, preferably, non-compulsoryAt least 6 years of professional experience, preferably in Strategy/Finance/Commercial department of a Group of Companies or in a consulting firm undertaking Corporate Finance/Strategy/M&A projects. Experience of the energy sector will be considered as an assetStrong communication skills with the ability to influence senior colleaguesDetailed understanding of valuation methodologies.
