Corporate Events Program Manager **W2 contract** Hybrid, 3 days a week onsite out of San Francisco, CA offices** Target W2 $40-53/hr As an Events Program Manager, you'll create the unforgettable and inspiring events that the Pinterest brand has become known for. What You'll Do: Act as Event Planner and Project Manager from conception to execution for select company-wide employee events; planning & executing the tactical work and logistics for your assigned program by partnering cross-functionally to create a thoughtful and authentic experience.Coordinate, operationalize and execute complex events on a global scale; most events occur on the same day across multiple locations internationally plus virtual.Lead planning meetings and document all action items and decisions for redundancy; including cross functional workflows with volunteer ERG committees, AV, Internal Comms, Food, Office Operations, etc.Ideate and source creative programming, including speakers and workshop facilitators, hands-on activations, entertainment.In addition to the events you manage, you’ll ensure the team’s events are a success by acting as the lead onsite production manager at one of the event’s many locations. Travel may be required.Budget and timeline management of events across multiple locations. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, management of events supplies & storage room, additional administrative tasks as needed What you bring:5+ years Event Management experience, including executing an event from start to finish. This role requires someone with strong project management skills; you value structure in your work, always leave a meeting with clear action items and are able to "control the room."Able to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and prioritize when multiple concurrent tasks are on your plate.Creative and resourceful, you aim to think outside of the box and seek opportunities to improve.Eager to develop your planning toolbox, learn and grow your career with Pinterest.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal collaboration and managing conflict, event marketing communications and post-event reporting to leadership.Event assignments may include ERG conferences, Inclusion and Belonging events, annual hackathon or social events.
