Corporate Investment Manager

About Us:ARKRAY, a global healthcare company based in Japan, is currently seeking an experienced Investment manager for startup Investment (Japan, South-East Asia, India and the Middle East). However, the worksite will be in Singapore. ARKRAY is one of Japan’s largest IVD manufacturers with a strong presence in Diabetes diagnostics, Automated Urine Analysis, POC & Self-care products.This position will play a key role in sourcing companies that can grow together with ARKRAY via ARKRAY’s resources, executing the process of corporate investment, and monitoring the collaborating companies after investments have been made.Roles and Responsibilities:Establish relationships with investors around the worldSource companies that have the potential to collaborate with ARKRAY and receive investments from ARKRAYCreate and grow the relationship with target companies and then arrange the collaboration with ARKRAYExecute the process of startup investment (including due diligence, negotiation about the investment agreement, etc.)Gather and evaluate information about current and future market dynamics, the competitive landscape, and cutting-edge technology.Achieve investment results and accompany strategic and financial returns.Perform other duties that are out of this position’s scope of responsibilities from time to time.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher with the following major: economics, finance, or business administration6+ years’ experience in the investment business at a CVC, VC, business development division, or similar.Interest and passion for company business and for developing a business from scratchStrong motivation to achieve goals along as well as KPIsExcellent time and project management skillsBusiness level English (Familiarity with Japanese will be an advantage)Willingness to travelOffice Location:ARKRAY&PARTNERS Pte.
