Our dynamic and flexible service is tailored to the specific needs of the individual, making it easier to live, learn and be part of a world adapting to change.The Role (Up to £35,000)We are looking for a Corporate Relationships Manager to join our ambitious and growing Fundraising Team. You will manage existing and secure new corporate partnerships by delivering high-quality pitches and proposals to targeted companies, managing the cultivation process from end to end. You will be ambitious and enthusiastic to deliver on income targets from sponsorship, cause-related marketing, employee fundraising and other forms of strategic partnership.This role would suit someone who has some experience in either corporate or philanthropy fundraising or equally someone in the corporate sector wishing to switch into the charity sector. You will be target-focused and able to use a wide range of corporate and commercial products to secure, retain, develop, and grow long-term income-generating partnerships. You will be ever-curious, always seeking to improve your skills and adopt new approaches.Main Duties• To achieve agreed income targets for corporate fundraising.• To maintain relationships and provide support for existing corporate donors.• Researching, prospecting and attending networking events to make connections with senior level business influencers, effectively converting engagements to secure long term, high value mutual partnerships.• Develop ways to maximise value from corporate support and develop new areas that will lead to growth in income i.e. Payroll Giving, Charity of the Year and Gift in Kind.• Develop opportunities to engage with the corporate community via networking and public speaking.• Maintain excellent communication/engagement with potential corporate supporters .• Deliver presentations and tours of our services to share key information to potential and existing corporate contacts.• Create and deliver compelling proposals for prospective new partners aligning with their core values/CSR objectives.• Provide corporate supporters with opportunities to attend/sponsor fundraising events.• Ensure all corporate donors receive strong and tailored communication and are supported and thanked appropriately.• Be an ambassador for The Percy Hedley Foundation, confidently presenting the charity’s key messages to increase awareness of the organisation and encourage people to support our cause.• Update the Fundraising Database to ensure appropriate and timely recording of communications and activities in line with legislative requirements.• Research new corporate fundraising techniques and keep abreast of developments within the charity sector, special education and social care sectors and North East’s business community.• Produce, manage and monitor accurate recording of income and expenditure and regular pipeline reports and updates to Head of Fundraising and Engagement.• Work collaboratively with the Fundraising and Engagement Team with a ‘one-team, one goal’ approach and play a key role at our events.• Work collaboratively across the organisation, building relationships with colleagues to ensure support for corporate activities and identify and maximise opportunities.• Understand the needs of our service users and how these factor into income generation.• Undertake any other duties of a similar nature consistent with the responsibilities of this post to provide a quality support service to the Fundraising and Engagement Team. If you have any questions about the role please contact Jeff Breen, Head of Fundraising - jeff.breen@percyhedley.org.uk
