Corporate Strategy Executive

The position is responsible for managing the process through which Aboitiz Power (AP) decides on long-term direction and sets strategic goals to help AP maintain and increase its competitive advantage.ResponsibilitiesManage the process to develop, align, document, and monitor AP strategiesLead single and/or manage multiple Strategy and cross-functional workstreams (e.g., issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, and synthesis of recommendations)Model and forecast long-term market prices and key trends, including key commodities and technologiesGather and analyze information on industry and competition, locally and abroad, including in-depth understanding of key playersMonitor, assess and evaluate the impact of potential industry disruptors (technology, legal, political) to AP strategyDevelop feasibility studies for new business models and projectsDevelop Strategy manager capabilities through on-the-job coaching and feedbackSupport senior management to spot, assess, and take decisions to capture opportunities / mitigate riskEngage with external stakeholders and represent AP in select external activities / executive forumsPresent findings to key AP stakeholdersMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Management, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or any 4-year related courseMaster's Degree, preferredMinimum 5 years in either a strategy, corporate planning or business development role or in a consulting, investment banking, investing, equity research role.Significant experience in the electricity and/or power sector.Experience in market modelling using forecast tools (e.g. Emcas, Marketsym, Plexos, Origin), preferred
