These include notable home-grown brands such as Sun & Sand Sports, Dropkick, Supercare Pharmacy, Farm Fresh, Klassic, and international brands like Nike, Columbia, Converse, Timberland, Vans, Mama Sita's, and McCain.Role SummaryThe Cost Accountant supports the Finance Manager in analyzing cost data, tracking variances, preparing budgets and forecasts, and providing insights to guide pricing and strategic decisions. The role spans both Frozen and Ambient Factory operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCompute product costing for current and proposed products.Review Bills of Material (BOM) against physical consumption before system finalization.Calculate process costs and plant overheads using standard cost methods.Determine overhead allocation rates for products.Prepare variance reports with detailed analysis.Monitor and analyze cost trends for raw materials, highlighting anomalies.Support month-end close activities.Assist in annual budget and forecast preparation.Contribute to internal and external audits.Perform other tasks as assigned by management.Job RequirementsEducation:ICWA or CMA certificationExperience:Minimum 3 years of relevant experienceGCC experience preferred, especially in food manufacturingTechnical Skills:Advanced knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting standardsProficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP S4 HANA)Advanced Excel and Power BI skillsStrong financial analysis capabilitiesWhy Join GMG?At GMG, we're dedicated to nurturing a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging work environment that promotes growth, innovation, and well-being.
