Cost Controller

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller to lead cost analysis and control initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for analyzing and monitoring production costs, labour costs, and other cost elements to support data-driven decision-making, improve cost efficiency, and drive profitability. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, deep understanding of manufacturing costing, and a proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth cost analysis covering raw materials, labour, overheads, machine utilization, production efficiency, and waste.Develop and maintain costing models to reflect real-time manufacturing costs and variances.Monitor and analyze standard vs actual cost variances; investigate significant variances and provide actionable insights to operations and finance leadership.Prepare and present cost analysis reports and dashboards to senior management on a regular basis.Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to understand key cost drivers and validate data accuracy.Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing reliable cost estimates and assumptions.Drive cost control initiatives and support continuous improvement projects related to cost optimization.Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements related to costing.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is an added advantage.Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior costing or cost analysis role within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control techniques.Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience in cost modeling tools is a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work cross-functionally with both finance and operations teams.
