General conditions:Language: English (German not required)Start: As soon as possible, duration at least 12 monthsScope: 5 man-days per weekLocation: Boden, Sweden; approx. 50% on site (more is better), rest can be done from home officeB2B – EU citizens only due to travel requirementsExpenses to be covered within all in rate Cost Controller – Balance of Plant (BoP) for large-scale steelworks construction project:A Cost Controller in the Balance of Plant (BoP) division plays a crucial role in ensuring transparent and effective cost control within a large-scale project.The main tasks include:Budget & Control:Preparation, monitoring and control of the BoP budget across all project phasesManagement of cost overruns, vulnerabilities and opportunitiesMonthly closing reportingReporting & Forecasting:Preparation of regular cost reports, commitments & expendituresPerformance of variance analyses specifically for the BoP scopeRisk Management:Identification and assessment of cost risks in the BoP areaPerformance of CR / CO status reviewsInterface work:Close cooperation between Project Services, Finance, Project Manager, EPCM, Area Lead and EngineeringEnsuring smooth communication between the stakeholders involvedProfile:Completed technical or commercial degree (e.g. civil engineering, industrial engineering, business administration)Several years of professional experience in cost controlling, ideally in the context of large-scale projects or EPCM structuresAnalytical thinking, structured working style and high attention to detailStrong communication and interface skills for working with various stakeholdersFlexible mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and prioritiesIf interested, or you know someone that could be, please reach out and we can arrange a time to speak?
