Cost Estimation Manager - Shipbuilding

We are partnering with a reputable Singapore shipyard. They are looking to hire a Cost Estimation Manager who will play a key role in developing accurate costing and competitive quotations that support both commercial success and operational feasibility.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment and subcontracting for repair, conversion and newbuilding projectsTake part in commercial activities and marketing company's solutions in the market,Review project specifications, drawings and client requirements to define accurate scope of workDevelop and submit tenders or quotations in response to client inquiries and bidding opportunitiesCoordinate closely with procurement, engineering and production teams to verify pricing inputs and delivery schedulesParticipate in tender meetings, site visits and client discussions when requiredMaintain an updated database of rates and pricing information and provide inputs for cost analysis and project reviewsSupport cost control efforts and contribute to strategies that improve profit margins and estimation accuracyRequirements3 to 5 years experience in shipyard estimation for newbuilding, repair or conversion or in similar capacity,Experience as an estimator or in cost control capacity would be ideal.
