You will have experience of working with other health and social service professionals and teachers to deliver counselling support in schools.This fixed term role is ideally working over three days - 24 hours per week, some flexibility on how these hours of work are managed over the fortnight may be possible.You can expect to be looking after a busy caseload where no two days are the same. It may involve group work and related services to individuals, adults, adolescents, couples, families and whānau. You will be involved in working with children, whānau and individuals affected by a range of issues.Mō Koe - About YouYou are a passionate, energetic person with the ability to connect to children and their whānau. You will be knowledgeable, organised and have excellent communication skills. Your approach to your work will be with kindness, good understanding of the counselling Modalities and process. Above all, you will have the drive to do right by the client.You will be a Counsellor with experience working both on a one to one with clients and running group programmes supporting individuals dealing with family harm.
