Customer Service: Greet customers as they enter the store or approach the sales counterAttending to direct & telephonic customers’ product and service inquiriesKnowledge of products and services offered to provide technical information and recommendations to customers to induce sales and a satisfactory post-purchase experienceUpsell or cross-sell additional products to enrich customers productivity and to ensure that products in the warehouse are within specHandling of customer queries in a friendly and efficient mannerSales Transactions: Conducting sales at the cash counter or point-of-sale system to process sales transactionsProcessing credit card payments, bank transfers, credit sales, and other forms of payments accurately according to set guidelinesIssue receipts and process refunds or exchangesCash HandlingEnsuring safe custody of cash according to set guidelinesConducting ad hoc and periodical cash countsConducting cash reconciliationsRecords & ReportingMaintaining accurate records of all sales transactionsProducing & submitting accurate and timely daily sales reportsInventory Management: Making recommendations to the Branch Manager on products and quantities for stocking based on demand trends and inquiriesMonitoring inventory levels to initiate restockingEnsuring neat and attractive display of products in the display shelvesOccupational Health and SafetyEnsuring that all counter sales operations comply with occupational health and safety standards as set out by the company, and Ministry of Health from time to timeConducting safety audits and inspections at the counter and sales area to identify and mitigate risks
