We are seeking an entrepreneurial and visionary leader to drive growth, build our brand, and solidify our presence in the Saudi market.Role SummaryThe Country General Manager - Saudi Arabia will serve as the senior leader responsible for scaling our operations from initial setup to sustainable growth. This role is the key bridge between the Overseas Business President and the Saudi subsidiary, ensuring alignment with global strategies while adapting to local market dynamics. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to expand our market share, team, and operational capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Business ScalingDevelop and implement a scalable growth strategy for Saudi Arabia, aligned with Oriental Yuhong’s global objectives.Drive market penetration by identifying opportunities in key sectors (e.g., infrastructure, real estate, industrial projects).Oversee the subsidiary’s P&L, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable growth.Business Development & Commercial ExcellenceLead high-level negotiations with key stakeholders, including government entities, contractors, developers, and distributors.Expand the customer base and secure large-scale projects to achieve revenue targets.Develop and manage a robust sales and distribution network across the region.Operational Management & GovernanceEstablish and optimize local operations, including supply chain, logistics, and warehouse management.Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and group policies in all operational and financial activities.Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to monitor progress and support decision-making.Team Building & Organizational DevelopmentRecruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing local team across functions (sales, marketing, technical support, operations).Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence while embedding Oriental Yuhong’s values.Stakeholder Engagement & Bridge FunctionAct as the primary liaison between the Saudi subsidiary and the Overseas Business President/Group HQ.Facilitate seamless communication and alignment on strategic priorities, resource needs, and market insights.Represent Oriental Yuhong at industry events, government forums, and partner meetings.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in the building materials, construction, or industrial sectors, with at least 5 years in a GM or senior leadership role in Saudi Arabia/MENA.Proven track record of scaling business operations in a multinational environment, preferably from early-stage setup to maturity.Strong network and understanding of Saudi business practices, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances.Experience working with or reporting to global HQ, balancing local autonomy with corporate strategy.
