Job DescriptionThe Interface & Design Coordination Manager will lead the design coordination team, acting as the central point for all design interfaces across civil, MEP/utility, traffic, and landscape disciplines. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in managing multidisciplinary design integration on complex infrastructure projects.The project involves extensive land development including civil infrastructure, MEP/utilities, and transport networks. The Interface & Design Coordination Manager will ensure seamless integration and coordination among all design disciplines, avoiding conflicts and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.Responsibilities Lead and manage the PMS scope in relation to the design coordination and interface management across the Program execution via Lead Developer’ entities including other 3rd party Consultants, PMC and Contractor. Develop and implement design coordination procedures and interface management plans. Review and ensure integration of designs across multiple disciplines (civil, MEP, utilities, traffic, landscape). Identify potential design conflicts, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution. Facilitate regular design coordination meetings and workshops to align multidisciplinary teams and resolve issues across Program teams and external stakeholders. Monitor design progress, track dependencies, and ensure adherence to project schedules. Maintain comprehensive records of design changes, approvals, and coordination issues. Support project management in risk management, reporting, and decision-making related to design interfaces. Mentor and guide junior design coordinators and engineers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline; Master’s preferred. 15+ years of experience in interface management and design coordination on large-scale land development or infrastructure projects. Proven experience in GCC countries, preferably Saudi Arabia. Strong understanding of civil, MEP/utilities, and traffic/transport design principles. Proficiency in coordination and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent). Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Experience in pre-construction and design review phases is mandatory.
