Job Description

JOB SUMMARYThe Country Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving all aspects of the company’s business operations under Phnom Penh Logistics Complex (PPLC). This role ensures that operations run smoothly, achieve financial targets, meet quality standards, and are delivered within set timelines and budgets. The Country Manager acts as the overall business leader, accountable for P&L, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and the long-term growth of the business in Cambodia. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Business & P&L ManagementFull accountability for the country’s profit and loss, ensuring sustainable business growth and profitability.

Lead strategic initiatives and support regional rollouts of key account operations when required. Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence in the country. 2. Planning, Scheduling & ReportingOversee and coordinate all warehousing, distribution, and supply chain activities, including inventory management, physical distribution, traffic scheduling, and record-keeping. Ensure optimum warehouse utilization, accurate stock records, and timely reporting to customers and regional HQ. Develop and implement business schedules to meet customer demand, service levels, and delivery deadlines. Provide monthly management reports on operational and financial performance, highlighting progress against agreed objectives. . 3.

Leadership & People ManagementBuild, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company values and service standards. Drive talent development through effective training, coaching, and performance management. Enforce staff discipline, foster collaboration, and motivate teams to achieve business and productivity goals. . 4. Customer Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction. Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, addressing issues proactively and minimizing complaints. Strengthen long-term relationships, explore cross-selling opportunities, and collaborate with sales and marketing to grow business with existing customers. 5. Quality & ComplianceEstablish and enforce country-level quality standards, processes, and operational procedures.

Monitor compliance with global and regional requirements, ensuring zero-defect delivery standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives toward operational excellence. 6. Cost & Resource ManagementEnsure efficient utilization of resources to control costs and maximize productivity. Implement cost optimization measures without compromising service quality. Monitor country-level budgets and financial targets. 7. Process Excellence & ImprovementContinuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce bottlenecks. Leverage technology and digital tools (e. g. , WMS, TMS) to improve productivity and visibility. Conduct operational audits and drive improvement initiatives. 8. Inventory & Vendor ManagementEnsure accuracy and integrity of client inventory records.

Manage and evaluate vendors, ensuring compliance with company standards and SLAs. 9. Communication Stakeholder EngagementAct as the key liaison between the country operations, corporate HQ, and regional leadership. Report business progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management. Represent the company with government agencies, partners, and industry associations where required. JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Logistics / 3PL / Supply Chain management, including at least 5 years in a senior country or regional role. Strong P&L management experience and proven track record of delivering financial results.

Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong knowledge of supply chain, warehousing, distribution, quality control, and cost management. Proficiency in logistics management systems (e. g. , WMS, TMS) and digital transformation tools. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and cross-border environment.
