Country Manager Egypt – CairoCLIENTLinum Consult’s client are a multinational industrial group, well-established in Africa. They are urgently seeking a Country Manager with experience in the Oil & Gas or heavy industry sector to oversee the company’s business operations and commercial strategy within the Mediterranean Sea,. This position will be based in Cairo.RESPONSIBILITIESManaging all operations in Egypt, Libya, Cyprus, Tunisia, Morocco, and Greece, encompassing the commercial, technical, operational, financial, and compliance functionsLeading the Egyptian branch as part of a multi-functional organisation, covering pipe and services sales, technical sales, operations, HR, finance, administration, QHSE, and legal complianceDeveloping and executing sales strategies for Oil & Gas products, services, innovations, and accessories to meet annual targets and Sales & Operations Planning forecastsEstablishing and implementing customer visit plans to drive engagement and sales performanceOverseeing the execution of goods contracts and services contractsManaging the country-level profit & loss, budgeting, invoicing, cash collection, and financial reportingLeading, growing, and retaining a competent and sustainable local teamPromoting cross-country collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the groupPROFILEAt least 10-15 years’ experience in Sales, with the last 5 years at Sales Director levelMaster’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent, Engineering, or similar subject is essentialMust have previous experience within the Oil & Gas or heavy industry sectorsVery strong team management skills, with a proven track record in a regional/country management roleFluent in spoken and written English, ideally with French, Arabic, or Portuguese language skillsPrevious experience in the Mediterranean geographic area is preferableAPPLICATION PROCESSIf you fulfil all of the key criteria for this position, then please formally submit your CV along with your current financial package details for the attention of Frederick Thugniot at africa@linumconsult.comIf you fulfil all the criteria stipulated, you will be contacted within 10 days.
