The Credentialing Specialist will manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for medical providers, ensuring compliance with all licensing and accreditation requirements. Daily responsibilities include compiling and verifying provider information, submitting credentialing applications, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with payers including Medicare. The role also involves clear communication with providers and internal teams to address any inquiries or issues.QualificationsProficiency in Credentialing, Medical Staff Credentialing, and related processesStrong Communication and Customer Service skillsExperience working with Medicare and thorough understanding of payer requirementsAttention to detail and ability to manage sensitive informationFamiliarity with relevant software and technologyBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experiencePrevious experience in the medical billing or healthcare industry is a plus
