As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.Your challengeWe are looking for a Credit Advisor (f/m/d) for the international lending business, in particular Lombard loans and residential real estate financing. As a member of our team you will be in charge of a loan book at our location in Bendern/FL or Zürich/CH. In doing so, you will ensure competent and efficient processing of international credit inquiries, ongoing credit extensions and monitoring of existing credit customer relationships. The following main tasks are part of your job:Advising the client front office (mainly Relationship Managers based in Switzerland, Middle East and Asia) on structured credit solutions in Private Banking for our international clientele Analyzing and assessing complex credit requests for Private Banking clients with a focus on Lombard loans (including risks from derivative positions), life insurance policy financing and mortgages on European residential real estate Preparation of comprehensive credit applications for the responsible committees, including assessment of the proposed loan structure, detailed risk assessment and evaluation of collateral Implementation of approved transactions including full documentation, provision of collateral (e.g. mortgage agreements) and data collection Ongoing monitoring of own credit positions, including the processing of overrun reports and other breaches of contract, with the aim of recognizing negative developments at an early stage and defining risk-mitigating strategies Involvement in credit projects and process improvements Your profileCommercial degree in banking and/or a university/technical college degree in business administration, finance or equivalent Many years of professional experience in the credit sector, mainly in the area of Lombard loans, mortgages and complex structured financing transactions Very good language skills in English and fluent in German, other languages are an advantage Affinity for numbers, coupled with excellent MS Office skills, Avaloq knowledge is a plus Proactive and motivated team player with high interpersonal skills, hands-on mentality Structured, meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work with the ability to meet demanding deadlines while ensuring a high level of quality Please note that we cannot consider applications via recruitment agencies for this position.Benefits at LGTA great place to work – a great place to have impact: LGT promotes diversity among its employees.
