With a presence in 20 countries, the group has 4,000 employees of 79 nationalities.Key task and Responsibilities:Working at either our Cheshire Oaks office, or London office, you will ensure money is collected from customers according to the terms and conditions of contracts, resolving customers invoice queries in a timely manner to facilitate payment and ensuring collections are in line with set targets.Your tasks are as follows:Chase outstanding balances by phoning, e-mailing, sending letters, issuing statements etcIssue letters to companies whose accounts are overdue, with next steps if payment is not made by deadlinesResolve customer queries regarding payments and invoice queries as quickly and efficiently as possibleTo raise any necessary invoice or credit notes on customer accountsTransfer and allocate paymentsTo meet monthly cash collection targets set by the Credit Control Manager to reduce company debt and debtor daysLiaise with all other departments, including working closely with the Sales team to ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all timesGeneral administration of accounts including updating customer contacts, addresses and PO numbersWork alongside the Sales team and Client Services team to manage and restructure customer accountsYou will report to the Credit Control Manager.RequirementsThe role of Credit Controller within the Infopro Digital group is for you if have the following skills and experience:Previous experience in a Credit Controller position is essentialThe ability to manage difficult conversations, whilst maintaining a positive relationship with customersPersistenceAssertivenessMotivatedStrong problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills over the phone and in writingStrong organisational skillsExperience of dealing with a high volume of customer accountsAble to work to set deadlinesGood team playerGood knowledge of ExcelBenefits25 days holiday rising to 30 days with increased serviceHybrid working - home and office - 3 days a week in the office / 2 at home 3pm finish on a FridayAdditional day off for your birthday Long Service AwardsLife assurance x 4 salaryAdditional holiday purchase schemeVolunteering daysGroup personal pension planEmployee Assistance Programme Employee retail discount schemeEye-care vouchersDiscounted gym membershipBike to workOngoing development and supportFriendly and relaxed office environment Regular business and department social eventsLooking for an exciting mission to serve professionals?
