Credit Research Analyst – New York, NYEstablished in 2007, Capital Four is a multi-strategy credit asset management firm with offices in Europe and NYC. The Company manages over $27bn in global credit assets across High Yield, Leveraged Loans, Structured Credit, Direct Lending, and Infra Debt. Capital Four’s US office, based at 280 Park Avenue in Midtown NYC, is seeking to add a credit investment professional to its growing platform.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a sector-agnostic credit research analyst with 5+ years of relevant experience. The Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the investment lifecycle, including idea generation, fundamental credit analysis, active portfolio monitoring, and investment recommendations. Key Responsibilities• Independently complete detailed fundamental due diligence and credit analysis on non-investment grade primary and secondary corporate credit investment opportunities, primarily across leveraged loans and high yield bonds• Prepare and present investment recommendations directly to Portfolio Management team• Maintain in-depth industry knowledge of relevant sectors and participate in generating firm market and sector views• Build and maintain financial models for all prospective and owned investments Key Qualifications• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference towards buy-side leveraged credit investing experience in both CLOs and HY Bonds• Open to all sector backgrounds, with a willingness and ability to cover new sectors as needed• Strong bottoms-up fundamental credit research skills• Ability to proactively manage new idea generation, existing portfolio monitoring, and prioritization of responsibilities with limited direction• Proficiency in succinctly synthesized analysis, communication, and calculated investment conclusions• Willingness and diligence to support the growing NY mandate of a well-established global platform• Expertise across the capital stack and on behalf of different investment mandates including CLOs, total return HY bond funds, and opportunistic credit funds• Collaborative, team player mentality with desire to step beyond analyst duties to support key growth initiatives Opportunity• High degree of responsibility in an entrepreneurial setting among highly motivated and experienced colleagues• The opportunity to play a critical role in the growing US arm of a global business• High visibility to Portfolio Managers and company leaders among a small team• Attractive career path within credit investing in a focused and meritocratic firm• Competitive compensation package with discretionary bonus and employee benefits• Expected Start: 1st Quarter 2026 Apply• To apply, please send your resume to c4uscareers@capital-four.com for consideration• Our hiring team will be in touch with next steps should your qualifications meet our criteria
