Job Description

IntroductionThe CS EHS Specialist supports the local Customer Support (CS) team to ensure safety for all ASML field service activities, including maintenance, installations, and upgrades.This role is based at the Cheongju site and reports to the EHS Manager.Job DescriptionProvide daily EHS support to CS managers to maintain a continuous safe working environment.Support the Visible Safety Leadership program by enabling CS managers to perform periodic safety walks and report outcomes via Gemba forms.Deliver Instructor-Led Training (ILT) sessions according to the training matrix (e.g., LOTO, Working at Height, Contractor Safety, SAPW).Process accidents, incidents, and near misses in the Intelex Safety Management System, supporting management in ownership of the process.Conduct weekly on-site safety inspections per customer site cluster according to the Intelex Audit program and follow up with relevant CS managers.Participate in Daily Kaizen meetings to gather engineers’ feedback and deliver safety talks when needed (at least once per site cluster per week).Review Project Safety Plans (PSP) for installation, relocation, and upgrade projects.Support the Integrated Safety Plan (ISP) program to strengthen CS safety culture.Facilitate and support the safety escalation process: chair and coordinate local Safety Review Board (SRB) meetings and escalate to CS WW SRB if required.Actively engage in activities within the global EHS community.Monitor compliance with local legal requirements and customer-specific safety demands.Liaise with customer representatives on EHS-related topics.Roll out new CS safety requirements across the region.EducationPreferably a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field or comparable safety-related studies/experience.Certificate of industrial safety engineer or equivalent qualification.ExperienceAround 4 – 8 years of experience working in EHS field.SkillsStrong analytical and abstract thinking abilities.Good communication skills, initiative, independence, and teamwork.Ability to share knowledge and identify opportunities that add value to the business.Stress tolerance and cultural awareness.Good written and spoken English, with didactical skills.Ability to deliver training sessions effectively.This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
