Key Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION 1 Manage APQP for Regionally based Suppliers for global projects 2 Approve of PPAP for assigned suppliers 3 Ensure implementation of Characteristic management (CC/SC) at suppliers 4 Review of Run & Rate documentation and complete on-site verification when required 5 Complaint Management and problem-solving facilitator – monitor recovery of costs incurred 6 Manager VA/VE implementation and change management linked to Suppliers 7 Audits using VDA 6.3 8 Development of new and exisiting supplier to align with commodity strategy Essential Qualifications & Experience Experience of high-volume Forging processes and machining Metallurgist or metallurgy experience Formal problem-solving skills (5WHYs, 8D, fishbone, PPS, etc) Practical use of AIAG Core quality tools, i.e. SPC, APQP, MSA, FMEA and PPAP Competence in Auditing (internal/external) - VDA 6.3 accreditation preferred CMM programming skills would be beneficial 5-axis CNC machining knowledge would be beneficialEssential Competencies Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean Worked within Automotive industries using IATF 16949 Practical Problem Solving Leadership and charisma, ability to communicate at all levels (Shop floor to Boardroom) Capability to work in teams as leader or team member, must be a strong collaborator Ability to travel (up to 25-50%) of working time, incl. regional travel. Gauge, Design & Tolerancing (GDT) Complex negotiation skills Ability to manage own time and meet deadline
