Each day TVNZ reaches more than two million Kiwis through channels TVNZ 1, 2, DUKE and our digital entertainment platform, TVNZ+, TVNZ's news site 1news.co.nz and our digital news youth brand Re: ensure we connect with people on the issues that matter to them wherever they are.The Opportunity - Te tūranga:This entry level role will support the content team in the curation of TVNZ+ across web, mobile and connected TVs. It is responsible for creating show pages, copywriting, sourcing and managing site imagery and supporting how we promote our content. This fixed term role will primarily focus on supporting our wider Curation team to migrate our content to a new content management system.Your focus will also be:Creation of show and movie pages, including CMS operation, managing and migrating metadata, and copy writing for TVNZ+’s content.Aligning with Programmers and transmission schedules to represent content opportunities on TVNZ+Curation of TVNZ+ homepages, hubs, genre and editorial content collections.Sourcing and managing imagery and other core assets, briefing Marketing/Graphics as necessary.Assisting the wider curation team with the migration of existing content into a new CMS.Working closely with Media Ops to ensure all content and assets are available as required.Using research, data and analytics to assist in site curation decisions.Regular contribution to curation planning sessions.Supporting News and Sport curation teams with collaboration opportunities across TVNZ+Collaborating with Marketing (media team in particular) to deliver on site promotion as required.The ability to operate in a fast-paced transformative environmentStrong viewer orientation and understanding of business-wide levers that impact viewer experiences.This is a 3 month fixed term contract. Starting in January 2026.
