Your ability to independently create learning experiences and to design and build online learning products is key to this role. A team player, your creativity and ability to make curriculum accessible and inclusive to learners is essential.Key responsibilities of the role Development of contemporary learning experiences that:* Serve diverse communities including adult, youth, and teen learners.* Are delivered across multiple modalities including in-person, blended and online formats.* Design eLearning content using appropriate digital tools and platforms.Embedding principles of diversity, equity, and cultural safety into all aspects of curriculum design.Support the integration of accessibility standards across the curriculum by establishment of best practice, providing guidance on inclusive design, and ensuring course materials meet various accessibility requirements.Support the regular review and enhancement of existing programs by incorporating new evidence and guidelines, emerging trends in learning, pedagogy and technology, and instructor and participant feedback.Collaborate with subject matter experts, including those with lived experience, to create content that is grounded in authentic, diverse perspectives, supporting relevance, safety, and meaningful impact.About you:With a commitment to evidence-based practice in mental health, you will have:Tertiary Qualifications in adult learning, instructional / curriculum design or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience in higher education or mental health settings.Minimum 4+ years’ experience in curriculum design using contemporary learning centred approaches.Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and inclusive learning content tailored to diverse audiences and delivery formats, including blended and online.High-level technical proficiency in designing eLearning content using appropriate digital tools and platforms (e.g., EVOLVE, Articulate, Canvas).Working knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).Understanding of evidence-based education, with the ability to design curriculum that adheres to organisational guidelines and draws on additional sources such as national studies and expert advice.Culture and BenefitsAt Mental Health First Aid International we embrace our differences as we know that diversity helps us to innovate and make the biggest impact possible.
