OverviewMicrosoft ANZ is seeking a strategic and customer-focused leader to join the Office of the Corporate Vice President (CVP) as the Customer and Partner Engagement Lead. This role will be responsible for leading the ANZ CVP’s customer and partner engagement strategy, as well as driving various customer initiatives designed to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction, and business growth across the ANZ Enterprise business. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, with exceptional communication and executive presence.ResponsibilitiesCustomer and Partner Engagements (Australia & New Zealand): Develop and deliver a clear customer and partner engagement plan aligned to regional business priorities and leadership objectives.Plan, design and deliver engagement activitiesPrepare briefing materials and executive preparationCoordinate senior-leader visits and major customer eventsManage communication before and after key meetingsExecutive Account Sponsorship: Lead the full strategy and delivery of engagement for the accounts sponsored by the senior executive.Conduct market research and provide insightsDevelop account plans and relationship strategies for senior leadersSupport opportunity development and account pipeline planningCustomer Programs: Increase customer impact through the full range of Microsoft customer programs, including senior-leader forums, large-scale events and important executive briefings. Build and maintain the operational processes that help account teams use these programs consistently and effectively across the business.Customer Experience Champion (Australia & New Zealand): Work closely with regional and global customer experience teams, using insights from customer feedback programs and other listening channels to provide recommendations to the senior leadership team and drive meaningful improvements to the customer experience.Additional Strategic Projects: Support the senior executive and regional business priorities through ad hoc strategic initiatives.Qualifications10+ years’ experience in enterprise customer engagement, programme management, or strategic account management roles, preferably within the technology sector.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is advantageous.Deep understanding of the enterprise commercial and public sector landscape in ANZ, including industry trends and the Microsoft partner ecosystem.Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across a matrixed organisation.Exceptional communication and executive presence, with experience preparing and delivering briefings to C-suite stakeholders.Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable engagement plans.Demonstrated success in managing escalations and sensitive customer situations with professionalism and sound judgement.This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
