If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.Role Purpose:The Associate Project Manager provides project or programme support and administration function, to customer facing project, programme and managers, which enables the project or programme manager to deliver a wide range of customer facing solutions and services to our Enterprise customers.The Associate Project Manager is customer facing for standard / simple end to end delivery with direct relationships with the customer.Responsibilities to include the day to day tracking and managing of risk, issue and change logs and delivery plan, this will require working closely with operational areas within Vodafone and 3rd Party Partner Suppliers, using negotiation, coordination, facilitation and communication skills, working proactively Key accountabilities and decision ownership:Creates and executes project work, in a (virtual) cross-functional project team; plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Coordinate projects with multiple functions and / or work streams by applying project management methods, best practices Ensures responsibilities, activities and deliverables are clear and documented for each resource allocated to a projectEnsures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyDocument processes, create process descriptions and work instructionsReviews deliverables prepared by the project team before passing to client Provides regular and accurate reporting to keep the customer, partners and internal stakeholders updated with project status and key risksStakeholder management – coordinate with the VGE management team on the delivery of critical milestones in the project which have significant impact on the project deliverablesRisk and issue management – highlight any arising risks, provide mitigation plan, also bring any issues up and implement problem solving techniques to resolve these issuesEnsures the Handover of documentation to business as usual support organization to ensure the Customer is recognized as ‘live’Core competencies, knowledge and experience :Governance & ReportingUsing appropriate Methodologies and Governance, to support the Project manager in delivering to Time, Cost and Quality. Must be able to assimilate multiple sources of information and report concisely to a range of stakeholders using appropriate methods Integration - Tools, Systems & DataProviding high level support to the programme & project teams in the appropriate application of various tools for example, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint. Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data set for the programme or project is maintained Business Skills and AttributesExperience of working in a challenging customer facing role, preferably delivery, with a good understanding of the process & procedures needed to deliver standard services Understands key issues dominating the industry Builds relationships across relevant areas of the business Knowledge of a customer environment would be preferable but not mandatory Must have professional qualifications: PRINCE2 foundation is a mustPMP Certificate is a plusSpanish & English Language C1 Level Strong Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Projects, Visio) Use project management tools to deliver a project including all project phases (Mobilization , Planning and Design , Implementation and Acceptance , and CloserKnowledge in financial related matters like budgeting, forecasting, controlling Customer relationship Management with ability to interact at Director Level Able to manage at mid-level across multiple culturesHas a successful track record of implementing various projects / programmesProven ability to manage in dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environmentsStrong communication and decision making skills Strength in coordinating projects & people Practical experience of transforming business requirements to functional capabilitiesAbility to interact and work with an international and distributed virtual team Excellent planning & organisational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience of working in a customer focused environment IPVPN/Networks (2G/4G) understanding is a plusUnified communication understanding is a plus#VOIS #BeUnrivalled #Createthefuture
