OverviewWe are looking for a Customer Experience (CX) Designer with strong expertise indesigning intuitive digital journeys in financial services. This role will focus ontranslating Open Finance requirements into customer-centric prototypes and visualexperiences that support regulatory-driven innovation across the UAE (Nebras OpenFinance platform, Consent & API Hub) and Bahrain (CBB Open Bankingframework and fintech ecosystem).You will be responsible for conceptualizing and prototyping user journeys in Figma,ensuring seamless, compliant, and engaging experiences across mobile and webchannels.Key Responsibilities CX / UX Research & Analysis Understand Open Finance use cases (account aggregation, payment initiation,consent flows, wealth and insurance journeys). Research customer needs, pain points, and behaviors in the UAE & Bahrainmarkets. Benchmark CX best practices from global Open Banking / Open Financeimplementations. Prototyping & Design (Figma) Create wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups inFigma. Translate business requirements and user stories into interactive journeys. Design flows for: Consent management (customer granting/revoking access) Data-sharing dashboards Cross-institution account aggregationCLASSIFICATION |INTERNAL Ensure prototypes are regulatory-compliant, inclusive, and user-friendly. Collaboration with Delivery Teams Work closely with Proxy Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, anddevelopers to ensure prototypes align with user stories and technical feasibility. Support Agile ceremonies by showcasing prototypes in sprint reviews and userworkshops. Iterate designs quickly based on stakeholder and regulator feedback. Design System & Standards Contribute to building a design system ensuring consistency across OpenFinance journeys. User Testing & Validation Conduct user testing sessions (internal and external where possible). Capture user feedback and refine prototypes. Document CX insights and share them with BA and PO for backlog refinement.Required QualificationsExperience: 5+ years in UX/CX design, with at least 2+ years in financialservices (banking, fintech, or payments).Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with GCC Open Banking / Open Financedevelopments:UAE – CBUAE Open Finance Regulation (Trust Framework).Bahrain – CBB Open Banking framework and regulatory sandbox.Tools: Proficiency in Figma (prototyping, components, design system management).Methodologies: Human-Centered Design (HCD), Design Thinking, Agile delivery.Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams (ProductOwners, BAs, Developers, Compliance).Communication: Strong ability to present designs to senior stakeholders and regulators.CLASSIFICATION |INTERNALEducation: Degree in Design, HCI, or related field. Certifications in UX/CXdesign preferred.Experience designing consent and data-sharing flows in regulated financial environments.Exposure to digital identity solutions (eKYC, UAE Pass, GCC ID frameworks).Familiarity with API-based ecosystems and developer portals.Motion design or micro-interaction prototyping skills.Prior involvement in user research in Arabic-speaking markets.
