U-Drive are recruiting for a positive and proactive Workshop Service Advisor to join the support team at our highly reputable Poole Workshop. Working alongside a professional and close-knit team, you'll be the face of the business in dealing with all customer queries from quotes and bookings through to taking payment. You'll have day to day customer interactions, both face to face and through formal business communication (phone & email). This role will see you liaising with multiple Head Office departments alongside our Branches and members of the general public.Core ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary individual in answering incoming phone calls for the department, always providing the exceptional level of customer service that is expected at U-DriveField all incoming telephone, email and in-person enquiries with prompt response times, with a friendly and professional toneTake booking for MOT slots, managing the MOT booking system effectively and optimising MOT lane utilisation to maximise department efficiency and profitability Accurately input data and information into booking systemProcessing of invoices and taking payments as appropriateProvide quotes for customers based on job requirementCheck that Job Cards and Service Maintenance and Repairs are being raised and processed correctly and in a timely mannerOrder parts from approved suppliers, keeping track of cost and availabilityMaintain and update Health & Safety records for the department, complying with regulationMaintain the office and reception space in a clean, tidy and customer friendly wayRequirementsSuccessful candidates should demonstrate the following skills and competencies:Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environmentA proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needsProblem solving skillsKnowledge of managing various payment systems, including credit card payments, internet sales and cash handlingExcellent communication skillsTeam player with a can-do attitude and an honest and trustworthy natureBenefits30 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing with length of serviceEmployee discount on U-Drive rental vehicles, including discounts for friends and familiesEmployee Discount Program offering savings on over 3,000 retailersEmployee Assistance Program in partnership with Health AssuredCompany-sponsored training and development opportunitiesFree yearly MOT, on-site parking where availableApply now and let our Recruitment Team reach out to discuss your application.
