More than 35 years later, we’re proud to be a certified B Corp with hundreds of trips in over 100 countries.The world needs more Intrepid people:Join our growing Customer Service team and provide the best online service to our customers, bringing your unique personality to every customer interaction!As a Customer Service Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our diverse global customers who use Live Chat to seek information about our trips or need help with their decision making.You'll help maximize sales of all Intrepid Group products while supporting direct customers and travel agents throughout the pre-booking and post-booking process. You’ll also action web bookings and make bookings in our reservation system, ensuring an overall exceptional booking experience with us!This is a full-time roster-based permanent position, where you will work in our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.Some of the essential experience you’ll bring may include: Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service, ideally telephone/ Live Chat and/ or Web-based Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide professional advice to a wide customer-base High level of accuracy and effective time management skills Travel industry course and/or experience within the travel industry preferred Well-versed with computer-based booking systems Our people reflect the diversity of our customers and the communities we visit:Intrepid is made up of 71 nationalities in over 30 countries, and we recognise that diversity makes us a stronger business.
