Job Summary: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction.Manage and coordinate of all aspects of freight forwarding activities including import and export of Airfreight, Sea freight and Trucking (Domestic UAE + Int’l). Providing DPWL freight forwarding customers high level of communication regarding the status of their shipments.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:First point of reference towards the clients in regards of providing suitable advice and answering questions regarding best possible logistics solutions tailored to their freight requirementsDetailed knowledge about local customs procedures and regulations and being able to provide DPWL clients with high-end advice regarding the required import and export documentationFast and quality responses to any enquiries from customers, overseas agents and vendors in regards of shipments, pricing requests and questions related to freight forwardingAssist clients in their day-by-day requests related to export/import documentation in order to ensure proper execution to the transportation files.Provide clients with complete Flight/Sailing details in order to ensure proper flow in information is guaranteed.Manage file creation and all services associated with freight forwarding and logistics.Correct and complete data entry into Cargoes Runner Freight Forwarding Operational platformLiaise with DPW internal Network and external Partner Agents in order to guarantee the best possible service assistance for any pending jobs and enquiries until completedLiaising and coordination with suppliers and 3rd party logistics vendorsCoordination with clearance department/external partner for all import / export shipmentsResponsible for accurate and timely billing process following the clients individual price agreements and ensuring timely and professional communication of the invoice towards the clientsCoordination with carriers, vendors and customers in regards of the event of any missing and/or damaged shipments and handling of claims in regards of damage and/or lost shipments Act quickly upon possible emergency situations that may arise within the life of an Air/Ocean file Network with your fellow Operations colleagues to ensure proper support is given in case of workflow overload. EXPERIENCEAt least 3 years of relevant and recent experience in Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service.Freight Forwarding experience is preferable. SKILLSFreight Forwarding – Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry.Agile Skills - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines.Computer Skills - Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPointAnalytical Skills - Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze numbers and attention to detail.Communication – Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors.Languages - You speak and write fluent English – additional languages are a bonus, but not a must.
