Customer Service SpecialistRemote (Remote, but candidates residing in the Atlanta, GA metro area are preferred.)Join the revolution at BiOrigin Specialty Products! At BiOrigin Specialty Products, our mission is to drive innovative solutions in alignment with our strategic partners to revolutionize the paper and tissue industry to do this, we hold fast in our core values which are the fabric of our culture and the pillars off which we build our community; teamwork, employee investment, integrity, problem solving, and trust.What we need from you:  Primary customer contact for assigned accounts. Processes customer orders, both basic and complex in nature, received by e-mail. Submits and verifies accuracy of customer data in order management system. Monitors customer orders through entire process, (order entry, manufacture, shipment, and delivery,); ensures customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries. Performs first level problem solving to best meet customer’s needs with least impact to profit margin.Develops and maintains a positive rapport with customers and employees at all locations. Escalates any potentially critical issues that arise to management’s attention. Collaborates with customers, production planners, sales managers, and others to investigate and resolve customer invoice and accounting issues.Analyzes order/shipment data for monthly financial forecast as well as providing customer order history to assist sales with evaluation of customer ordering needs to identify areas that need attention.Performs weekly review of shipment history and open order reports to applicable customers.Maintains Customer Service database for assigned accounts.Time management for a fast-paced work environment that is extremely transactional.Problem solving/deductive reasoning to be able to apply general principles to the same types of concepts to draw conclusions/answers to problems. Serve as a backup for order entry, invoicing, and other tasks as needed or assigned. Assists in training of order entry representatives. Minimum qualifications: This role is remote but candidates residing in the Atlanta, GA metro area are preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred. A minimum of two years of customer service experience or applicable field is preferred but not required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required and must be demonstrated. Proficient in general computer PC and data entry skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.  Knowledge of computer programs used to track production and customer order status is preferred (ERP's). JD Edwards experience is a plus.Must be able to work with a diverse group of people in a professional manner and be able to handle several work tasks concurrently.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
