Quality is our backbone, customer-focus is our tradition, flexibility is our strength...that’s us…that’s Everest.To drive continued success in this exciting clinical research field, we are seeking committed, skilled, and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team in Sofia, Bulgaria as a full-time on-site Cyber Security Analyst.The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for tasks such as application security, malware analysis, network security, awareness program and utilizing analytical skills to ensure the security of Everest Clinical Research's systems and data.Key Accountabilities:Level 1 Security OperationsMonitor security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, patch practices and recommend security changes to systemsAssist Users with Security incidents and threat surveillance and mitigationUsing various software security tools, identify, investigate and communicate remediation activities to resolve information security issues and track outstanding remediation efforts to completionImplement and manage email security protocols to protect against phishing, malware, and other email-based threatsMonitor and audit user accounts, permissions and access rightsProvide on-call support for end users for all in-place security solutionsParticipate in deployment of new security solutions as requiredCoordinate security incident remediation with vendor and Infrastructure teamsDiscreet Threat and Vulnerability DetectionDeploying ethical testing routines from time to time to ensure threats are identifiedand mitigatedVulnerability Scanning and detection to escalate expedient remediationLead, plan and deploy Security Awareness Training programs and security email campaigns to bring more awareness to our enterprisePlan, recommend and lead modifications or adjustments for Security standards and policies based on best practices, including IT and End User standards and policiesQualificationsA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related fieldTwo to three years of equivalent work experienceCyber Security mindset, while balancing user experience/performance with security practiceKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and frameworks Skills in leading vulnerability and patch managementCyber Security methods and technologies (e.g., Firewalls, email security, encryption, certificate) and Network SecurityExperience in Application Security and Malware AnalysisSkills in reviewing logs and SIEM’s to troubleshoot events/incidentsStrong Analytical SkillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExperience with Microsoft 365, Intune and Purview are a plusCertifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a plusTo find out more about Everest Clinical Research and to review other opportunities, please visit our website at www.ecrscorp.comWe thank all interested applicants, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Everest is committed to upholding the principles of dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity.
