Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Vinod Patel CenterpointEmployment Type: Full-TimeApplication Closing Date: 31st Aug 2025We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our security posture and help safeguard our digital assets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a sharp analytical mindset, and is committed to protecting data and systems from evolving threats. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and alerts. Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies. Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies, standards, and controls. Perform regular security audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks.

Investigate suspicious activities, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation measures. Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security is embedded in all processes. Skills and ExperienceStrong knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection. Experience with incident response, log analysis, and threat intelligence. Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS). Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to articulate risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Experience2–4 years in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles.

Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP (or working towards one).
